Remember the power up technician I wrote about some months back? Well, he’s still with us, and he got into trouble again.
This time, it was his attendance. The guy has been missing from work very frequently as of recent, each time citing different excuses. If it’s not headache, it would be eyesore. Up until last week, he had astoundingly missed 70% of his working hours… and he had injured basically every part of his body imaginable. (I later found out from the boss that he has been faking his MCs to shirk)
That was when the boss summoned me and asked what should we do about that guy… you know, with me being the team leader and all that. Since the boss asked, I naturally suggested to slap that lazy turd a warning letter and had him parked under probation. With that probation in place, we could just fire his ass at our desired time… and it would be a good riddance. But then the boss thought I was being too harsh, and decided to yell at the technician instead… on the phone, and the bastard got away scot-free.
Well, what can I say, that son of a bitch was indeed lucky. Had it been me who decided his fate, he would probably be looking for a job now. With a bad record to go with it. But then, I’m not fretting… because I know, it’s just a matter of time before he ruins his own shit with that kind of attitude. His incompetency and sleaziness is growing in him like a cancer… and it’ll take more than just luck to set things right. He needs a total personality makeover and huge deal of miracle.
Right now, I think the only thing that fits for him to do, is to lie down in the path of an excavator as a human shield, for any squatter village that is bound to be demolished by the government… I think he would like that job very much (plenty of sleep, little intelligence). We’ll see.

Wah lau eh! Liddat oso ur boss tutup satu mata ah? He/she dont want to do ‘chau lang’ work then taichi to u. Mana tau, u damn fierce wanna fry the tech’s cuttlefish…………. Hey, are u under management program to be next Manager & the boss testing ur management method issit?
Lim peh 62% evil maaa, abothen?
regarding your post on November 17, 2009 life saving memo.
yes, buses do have seatbelts. Perhaps you should look beyond this tiny island and not to look the world though a key hole… Our neighbour island from the South, look at their company shuttle buses, all seats are installed with seat belts. and all employees who are taking the company shuttle bus to the office will fasten their seatbelt for their own safety, and they are well educated and always put safety first.
Malaysia with impotent government, regardless of countless freaking bus accidents that claims hundreds of lifes, they still never bother to implement and enforce for seat belts for all buses, especially express bus.
The Chinese in China may have difficulty with vocab or grammar, but you should be able to understand what it says. If their buses has no seatbelt, I am sure the memo will state “Please hold on your seat firmly”. “since when do buses have seatbelts?” I really have no idea why you ask a question without using your commonsense first.
Reader – No one said buses shouldn’t have seat belts. ‘Since when do buses have seatbelts’ was said as an expression of disbelief, that buses nowadays have seatbelts… because it is not very common here.
But then, you don’t seem to get the context of the whole post either, so I’m not going to waste my time explaining it to people like you.
You guys gave a life lesson to the technician through the phone? How would you know he’s paying attention or really learning his lesson? He could be lying in jacuzzi with someone peeling grape skin and feeding him at the same time :P
I did meet him personally when he finally showed up at work. It appears that he has been informing another technician about his absence… and when both of them went missing together, it became a mystery.
@Reader: Erm….I’m a lil’ speechless but perhaps you didn’t get the gist of the post??? And yeah whatever, Malaysia has ‘impotent’ government’ and everyone never use their common sense here. Up here in the small island, we have manners. Don’t come back!
@Michael:If I were your boss, I would have give him a lil’ pink blusher on his cheeks with two tight slaps and fuck him off the company (confirm with a bad record to go with!!!). What kinda people fake their MCs??? Is it or is not common in Malaysia? And even if he fakes it, can’t he like do it smartly, e.g, less frequent, better reasons and etc.??? Jeeezzz….piss me off!
Well I guess faking MC is an acceptable practice in company X. The manager should be fired for being indecisive on a well known issue with facts to support it. Nothing personal about giving warning letters.
