I was in front of my PC reading some forum … when Emily appeared by my side…
Emily : [meddles with my stuffs] “You still need these markers ?”
Those were the markers I used to write on my blank CDs the day before … definitely do not need it no more. But due to the countless of bad experiences I’ve had with my home ladies (my mom & Emily) messing my stuffs (which they would “keep” it somewhere and never were to be found again) … I was inclined to give out a stereotyped reaction towards her query …
Me : “Arrgh !! dear !! Why you always like to mess my stuffs ?? Just leave it ok ? I still need it !”
Emily : “You still need it ? for what ?”
I was reading some forum contents… remember ?
Me : “I’m trying to concentrate my reading here…”
Emily : “And you need a marker to read from the internet ?”
Me : “Err… Yeah !!! I need to hold it against my head … it helps me to concentrate better ! Now will you leave me be ??”
Emily : “Ok”
You know girls, when a guy has some stuffs lying about on his desk or anywhere at all, trust me - they’re there for some reasons. Most probably that matters not to you … but A WHOLE ASS LOT to him. So, please… just leave us be .. ok ? (Leaving those stuffs where they are would not cause somebody’s car to explode or something … just relax…)

Yeah! Strongly agree! My grandma always mess up with my thing and when I want it, it is no where to be seen. (but sometimes it was me who forget them somewhere) hehehe.
Yeah, hate it too, especially, when trying to concentrate to read newspaper / magazine / blogs / watching tv and out of nowhere, these ppl’s appear and asked u to do something / bombard u wif questions… sigh….

Dude, then you’d know how I felt when one day when I wasnt home, my missus conspired with the maid to go and ‘help’ tidy up my ‘messy’ store room. Imagine how I felt a few days later when I wanted to get my Bosch cordless drill and found out how tidy MY store was!! Arrrgggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

Couldn’t agree more man… if only the women out there can just accept that and NOT mess with OUR mess, else it’ll get really MESSY!
They don’t have to understand our behaviour, just accept us for who we are and what we do with our desks! :p
not all girls are neat-freaks, k.. some of us DO prefer our desks in a state of organized chaos. :p (tho’ my mom thinks it’s just me in a state of perpetual laziness and my disconnection from the domestic inclination to clean everything up).

I just hate people messing up my things……I put my things in a way that I won’t forget about it, if someone mess it up, I am screwed, that’s why I always tell people to leave my stuff ALONE!.

my mom always surprise me with new looks of any corner of house, and i always think that i am in the wrong house… well… madness…
That’s not the worst. My mum waits for my dad to be off to work before she rummages his cupboard AND *drum roll* clears/bins all his (comfortable) tattered tees & worn-out undies and those new-looking trousers a few sizes too small (because dad was growing sideways) - LOL!
Wah, that means I am a terrific wife. Because I will even leave the rice grains and mee to ‘air-dry’ before I even bother sweep them away. *muahahaha*

kljs - Emily usually allocates a couple of nice boxes and a whole cabinet for me to ditch my stuffs … and let them reek in there. But once a while, the ladies would get itchyfied (noun/adj/verb copyright of Reta) and mess with it … And that’s when I would get really psyched up and begin to demolish the whole building looking for my stuffs.

lilian - the word’s “dehydrate”. Dehydrating food is my favorite hobby - eg. leaving my Milo dry in it’s mug, leaving my plate dry after dinner … and sometimes, I would even dehydrate some food from my agaped mouth when I inadvertently doze off during the hot afternoon…
I don’t think it’s only a guy thing la, I don’t like ppl to mess (clean in this case) up with my stuffs on the table, I won’t be able to locate them if it’s too tidy XD

suen - victim wise, it’s definitely not a guy thing. But perpetrator wise, it’s definitely a female thing. Have you ever seen your dad or grandpa messes your things up ? No way … they couldn’t bother much… coz they understand…
